ShipETA Pro

ShipETA Pro is a free Windows desktop application. Download the .zip, unzip it anywhere and run it — there is no installer, no account and no internet connection needed. Every passage plan is saved in a portable database next to the program.

Each waypoint carries a speed and a time. Lock the speeds and ShipETA Pro solves the ETA at every waypoint and the final port; lock an ETA instead and it solves the speed you must make good over the legs leading to it. Stoppages (dd:hh:mm) at any waypoint and local time zones flow down the rest of the plan automatically.

V2PS .gpx, Bridge Master / Transas .route, SPOS V2PS .xml and IEC 61174 .rtz route files. The format is detected from the file itself. You can also type or paste waypoints by hand.

Use WGS84 (Vincenty geodesic) to match distances shown by your ECDIS and GPS. Use the Spherical model (60 NM per degree) when you need numbers that match V2PS or a classic great-circle table.

It is free. It runs on 64-bit Windows 10 or 11, weighs about 5 MB including runtime libraries, and works completely offline.
